CarboPur WS, as a sealing material it is compatible with ground water causing no negative effect. No significant changes are detectable if and when coming in contact with tunnel sealing bands.
The mixed resin penetrates the structure to be sealed. The water in the cracks and joints is displaced due to the resins hydrophobic nature and viscosity.
CarboPur WS, Component A is a mixture of various polyols and additives.
CarboPur WS, component B is a polyisocyanate.
When the final mix comes into contact with water, the resin foams up in different volumes,thus the mechanical properties vary accordingly. The cured resin is resistant against many acids, alkali and salt brines as well as organic solvents (if in doubt consult Minova representative).

WHY CARBOLITH PL?
CarboLith PL is used to repair sewer ducts and pipes and features excellent properties and economical advantages. The non-foaming elasticised resin hardens very well even in case of large volumes of external water inflow.
Component A of Carbolith PL is a water-glass component with additives. Component B is a modified polyisocyanate. Component C is a blend of additives improving the components and regulating the pot life of the mixture.The combination of components and liner forms an interpenetrating network of tough elastic, non-foamed silicate resin.
