Where better beam building is needed, the Tension Rebar Bolt System has strength characteristics to meet your needs.
CTBs work much like Tension Rebar Bolts, but with the added benefit of being threaded the entire length of the bar, allowing for more versatility if ground conditions change.
Minova Continuous Thread Bolts work much like Tension Rebar Bolts which simplifies the type of equipment required during installation.
Continuous Thread Bolts are threaded the entire length of the bar, which allows for more versatility if roof or ground control plans change down the road. This versatile bolt can be used for roof/rib support, tunnelling and slope stabilisation support projects.
Matched Bearing Plate systems and Minova resin capsules are available for all Minova Rebar Bolts.
Minova Reinforcing Steel Bar (Rebar) is manufactured to critical tolerances and standards to meet the day-to-day needs of our mining customers. Our comprehensive quality control program ensures that each Rebar Bolt order arrives at your site just as you have specified. And, because Minova is a world leader in manufacturing, you can be assured that we will be able to fill your orders quickly and efficiently, regardless of the size of the delivery requirement.
Minova Rebar Bolts are made from grade 40, 60 and 75 steel and can be manufactured as bendable products for low seam applications.
The most trusted brand in resin cartridge anchoring systems. The A-Series, Lokset® resin cartridge was designed to work specifically with #6 (3/4") steel roof bolts in 25 mm (1") boreholes.
The principal applications for A-Series, Lokset® resin cartridges include fully grouted rebar, tension rebar, doweling and resin-enhanced mechanical anchors.
The Lokset® system consists of an easily handled cartridge, containing a reinforced polyester resin component together with a catalyst, in accurately measured quantities.
The components are isolated from each other by a physical barrier which prevents reaction between the components until mixing. The sausage shaped cartridge is designed for rapid insertion into a one inch diameter hole and is used with a #6 (3/4) rebar bolt. The system permits the placing of bolts in any position or angle above or below the horizon. Therefore, optimum bolt anchorage is possible in a wide range of rock or coal strata by easily adjusting the length of the resin anchor zone.
No reaction takes place until the bolt is inserted and rotated through the cartridge, mixing the components and initiating the curing action. The chemical nature of Lokset® cartridges allows the contents to be mixed easily, yet minimizing resin run out. The mixed resin fills the annulus around the bolt and creates a superior mechanical interlock with the surrounding strata. Standard “point” anchorages will be firmly interlocked with the substrate and bolt within minutes.
The setting time of the resin components can be controlled. A combination of fast- and slow- setting cartridges and differing insertion strengths makes possible the simultaneous operation of anchoring, grouting and tensioning of rock bolts. The simplicity of this method of anchoring/grouting eliminates the need for cumbersome injection equipment.
The most trusted brand in resin cartridge anchoring systems. The B-Series, Lokset® resin cartridge was designed to be used specifically in conjunction with #5 (5/8”) steel roof bolts in 25 mm (1”) boreholes.
The principal applications for B-Series, Lokset® resin cartridges include fully grouted rebar, tension rebar, doweling and resin-enhanced mechanical anchors.

The most trusted brand in resin cartridge anchoring systems. The E-Series, Lokset® resin cartridge was designed to work specifically with #7 (7/8”) steel roof bolts in 1-3/8" boreholes.
The principal applications for E-Series, Lokset® resin cartridges include fully grouted rebar, tension rebar, doweling and resin-enhanced mechanical anchors.

The components are isolated from each other by a physical barrier which prevents reaction between the components until required. The sausage shaped cartridges are designed for rapid insertion into a wide range of borehole sizes, where they may be readily pushed at any angle above or below the horizon. Therefore, optimum bolt anchorage is possible in a wide range of rock or concrete strengths and is easily achieved simply by adjusting the length of the resin anchor zone.

The chemical nature of the Lokset® cartridge allows the contents to be easily mixed, yet minimizes resin run out after mixing is complete. The mixed resin fills the annulus around the bolt.

The Lokset TOOSPEEDIE resin cartridge was designed for primary application and use with tension rebar systems. The Lokset TOOSPEEDIE system consists of a single cartridge accurately filled with both fast and slow speed, reinforced, thixotropic polyester resin mastic and an organic peroxide catalyst separated by a physical barrier.
Lokset TOOSPEEDIE resin cartridges are available in multiple set-time ratios, as designated by the product codes. Combinations of set times are possible using any of Minova’s resin mastic formulations.
