Capcem™ KT Fast 2C

Capcem™ KT Fast 2C is a sealant coating that provides a protective, light grey layer to rock, coal, or concrete surfaces which are susceptible to deterioration on exposure. This product is especially recommended for stabilisation of burnt coal surfaces, whilst its fast rate of strength development allows rapid development of support.

The product is supplied as separate cement and polymer components. The mixed material is spray applied and cures rapidly to a light grey colour with high adhesion characteristics to a variety of substrates. 

Product Features

• Based on conventional cement and water-based polymer, solvent-free

• 13.5 Litres - yield 3.4 m2 at 4 mm thick

• Meets the requirements of SANS 0177 Part 3 – Surface Fire Index of Finishing Materials, and NES 713-Toxicity of Combustion Products

• Compressive strength of 35.2 MPa after 28 days of curing

• Tensile strength of 4.7 MPa after 28 days of curing

Product Options

• Supplied as a kit containing both the cementitious powder (19 kg) and bottles of the polymer liquid (5 litres).
