CarboStop U

CarboStop U is a water-reactive single-component resin with integral catalyst, free of CFC and phthalate plasticisers. The product is ready for use without mixing.

CarboStop U consists of modified isocyanates with softeners and additives. It cures by reaction with ambient water yielding a polyurethane / polyurea foam.

CarboStop U stops water inflows and provides a temporary seal, which often is satisfactory for the sealing of excavation sites during the construction work.

Product Features

• The product stops water ingress including salt-water

• Used in tunnel construction as a sealing product

• Consolidates gravelly sand

• CFC and phthalate plasticisers free

• Seals drill holes

• Application at ambient temperatures of between 0°C and 40°C

• Approved according to the German ZTV-RISS regulations as a pre-seal for the sealing of concrete structures

• In the absence of water, it does not harden for hours in the injection pipe

• Used as a pre-seal for sealing work according to German ZTV-ING (Sealing and extendable joining of cracks in reinforced concrete)

• Can be combined with CarboCrackSeal H

• Tested for groundwater compatibility according to the official guidelines of the German Institute for Construction Technology (DIBt)
