Capram™ Capsules

Capram™ Capsules are a cementitious pumped anchoring grout supplied as a ready-to-use dry powder encapsulated in a water permeable skin for easy grouting of rock anchors, particularly of overhead roof bolts as encountered in mining and tunnelling applications.

When required for use, the capsules are soaked in water which is absorbed through the skin to form a thixotropic non-shrink grout.

Additives impart controlled expansion to the grout and reduce water requirement to achieve grout workability. The low water/cement ratio ensures high early strengths, particularly at low temperatures. Cohesiveness of the grout allows it to be used in wet hole conditions.

Product Options

• Capram™ Capsules are supplied in woven polypropylene carrying bags with an inner polythene liner (2 capsules per bag) or in water resistant boxes (4 capsules per box).
