Pump injection chemicals up to 3,000m from the surface using a variety of pumping methods. Pumping chemicals from the surface eliminates up to 95% of activity. This means less exposure to chemicals and reduced manual handling. Limit the transportation of materials underground and reduce manning levels.

Our injection chemicals range include polyurethane (PUR), silicate and phenolic based systems which are also routinely used to stabilise longwall faces in underground coal mines and prevent falls of ground during production. Polyurethane products can be injected under high pressures and have a long history in preventing water ingress of varying magnitudes into the mine.
Bevedol® / Bevedan® is a two component, foaming polyurethane (PUR) injection system used to consolidate highly convergent strata. The system consists of a resin (Bevedol®) and a catalyst (Bevedan®) which is delivered into the strata via a pump unit and injection gun. The two components mix in the gun, which initiates the reaction of the product. The low viscosity mixture penetrates the smallest fissures, hardens and ensures the consolidation and sealing of the area submitted to treatment.
Carbofill® is a two component phenolic foam resin used for filling cavities. Component A is an aqueous phenolic resins containing a suspension of solid carbonates as a blowing agent and Component B is a blend of various acids which affect the foaming process and the curing reaction.
The final product is a lightweight material with a yellow to pink colour. Ideal for filling of cavities in underground roadways and longwalls and the stabilisation and prevention of gas accumulation, stabilisation of debris and forming temporary plug seals.
Geoflex® is a non-expanding, elasticised, two component injection resin system. Geoflex® Part A is a specialised sodium silicate with additives. Geoflex® Part B is a modified polyisocyanate.
The final product is a tough, flexible material with extremely high bond strength that is resistant against acids, alkalis, brines and many solvents. Ideal for grouting/injection coal and adjacent strata, sealing of injection anchors and stabilisation of debris.
Minova's Pumpable Crib system has been developed to provide enhanced standing and roof support in underground coal mining. Typically installed for gateroad secondary support, Pumpable Cribs are a cost effective alternative to tin cans or timber cribs. Our system provides a more productive means to install standing support in longwall mining operations, reducing exposure for operational personnel and more cost effective mine production.
Using our patented Tekpak® P technology, we allow you the flexibility to install Pumpable Cribs from the one surface location. A surface to seam operation allows mines to reduce equipment and material movements underground along with reduced operators underground.
We have invested in full scale testing of our Pumpable Crib's at an Australian NATA accredited facility, giving our customers confidence that our Pumpable Crib technology will perform to Australian conditions.
We have installed ventilation seals throughout Australian coal mines for more than 15 years. We offer full roadway evaluation, seal design and contract installation of explosion rated seals. Our installed structures are fully rated and quality control tested to ensure construction is completed according to design specifications.
Working with a NSW coal mine we developed an approved design and using FB200 installed a plug seal rated to 120 psi. The FB200 was pumped 160m deep down a borehole and 700m horizontally to complete six bulkheads.
