Minova’s UniPass Dynamic Bolt is purpose‑built for dynamic and seismic conditions, including zones at risk of rock burst. A one‑step, self‑drilling installation with a welded drill bit reduces the annulus, optimises grout consumption and accelerates bolting in unstable ground; pre‑drilled installation is also available when conditions allow. The bolt’s three‑section design – bond, defined yielding section, bond – delivers controlled energy absorption without compromising anchorage. Depending on configuration, the system provides 20–50 kJ dynamic capacity. Grouting through the hollow core with CarboThix bulk resin or cementitious grout ensures consistent encapsulation and early load, supporting safer, faster cycles and compatibility with semi‑ or fully automated bolting.
