CarboThix is Minova’s flagship thixotropic silicate injection resin for underground mining and tunnelling, engineered to raise safety and velocity in rock bolting. The two components mix at the point of application and thicken instantly, so the grout stays where you need it, fills fractures and cures quickly to deliver uniform load transfer and full encapsulation of the bolt. As a pumpable system, CarboThix supports long‑distance delivery—ideal for mechanised and automated bolting—while resisting dilution in wet holes to maintain consistent performance. Available in temperature‑matched grades—CarboThix Rapid for cooler ground, CarboThix Fast for temperate to warm ground, and CarboThix 2 / Standard for general use—it enables early loading in minutes rather than a day with cementitious systems.
