CAPCEM Cement Capsules

Capcem™ Products are pre‑measured cementitious capsule grouts engineered for fast, efficient rock and roof bolting in mining and tunnelling. Each capsule’s water‑permeable skin ensures a controlled water‑to‑powder ratio: simply soak, install and bar‑in to form a thixotropic, non‑shrink grout that stays in the hole—even overhead—without run‑out. That means stable anchorage, less mess and no on‑site batching or mixers. Capcem variants address temperature and set‑time needs: Capcem™ 1/4 (Ultrafast) and Capcem 1/2 (Fast) for rock up to 45 °C; and Capcem 50 for warmer rock from 40 °C to 60 °C. Typical lab pull strengths on 16 mm deformed rebar reach up to 10.0 t at 28 days for Capcem 1/4, while Capcem 1/2 typifies up to 8.0 t; Capcem 50 is formulated for rapid strength development at elevated temperatures—helping crews bolt safely and return sooner. All Capcem grouts are chloride‑free to protect steel from corrosion, supplied in practical bag quantities and capsule sizes to suit standard boreholes and yield requirements.
