Product Details

Bevedol™ / Bevedan™ is Minova’s two‑component, foaming polyurethane (PU) injection resin engineered for rock consolidation, stabilisation and water control in soft and hard rock mining. The resin (Bevedol) and catalyst (Bevedan) are mixed at 1:1 volumetric ratio. After mixing both components in the injection gun a rapid curing reaction is initialized. Low viscosity of mixture enables excelent penetration into fine fissures of rock, delivering strong adhesive bonds and high mechanical resistance once cured. Typical unfoamed strengths reach values over 3 MPa (adhesive), up to 80 MPa (compressive) and up to 90 MPa (flexural), the combination of which Bevedol™ / Bevedan™ achieves a long-lasting and excellent ground supporting effect. Bevedol™ / Bevedan™ contains a foam inhibitor that minimizes the reduction in strength due to foaming on contact with water. The foamed structure yields to ground pressure, accommodating movement and helping reduce material migration during injection. The slightly foamed structure of the Bevedol™ / Bevedan™ behaves semi-plastically under rock stress without brittle failure and can absorb rock displacements.

Product Features

Two‑component foaming PU for rock consolidation and water stopping

Low‑viscosity

Penetrates into small fissures bellow 0.1 mm

Rapid curing reaction

Consolidation or sealing effect occurs in a short time due to the rapid curing reaction, in case of stopping the flowing water, the risk resin wash-out is avoided

Volumetric 1:1 mixing ratio

Easily controllable mixing ratio of components during pumping ensures constant final parameters of the cured resin. No need to prepare/activate the mixture - mixing takes place directly in the injection gun and only the amount that is required

High mechanical parameters

Unfoamed resin strengths reach values over 3 MPa (adhesive), up to 80 MPa (compressive) and up to 90 MPa (flexural)

Hydrostatic water sealing

During the curing reaction, the resin creates a permanently impermeable structure (closed cells) with high resistance to pressurized water
